This week the Big Dash team improved the Events community feature and the overall experience when editing/adding events and library items in your admin dashboard.

Improvements

Attending events: We added a 'Attending' section on the events page of your community. This will show all the upcoming events that the logged in end-user is attending.
Remaining events: We added a 'Remaining events' section on the events page of your community that shows all the upcoming events that are not in an existing category.
Past events: We added a 'Past events' section on the events page of your community that shows all the events that were held in the past.

Extra location info: Extra location information can now be added to an event in your admin dashboard. This information can for example include detailed info about where the event is located. The info is shown at the Location section of an event in your community.
Required fields event/library item: Fields that are required are now easily recognizable (with an asterisk) on the create/update pages in your admin dashboard.

Resolved bugs

  • When creating/updating events in your admin dashboard there is now a better check on the start and end dates of the event. (For example the end date can no longer be before the start date)
