This week we added the option for end-users to join groups, improved managing your subscription plan templates and solved some bugs and made some other minor improvements.
Joining a group
You can now allow end-users to join a group in your community. You can do this by enabling the 'Allow users to join group' option when creating or updating a group in your dashboard.
Subscription plan templates
Managing plan templates - We have improved the way you can manage your plan templates. Instead of managing the templates all on one page, we have split it up into detail/info, create and update pages.
Adding groups to Stripe plans - When creating or updating your plan templates you now have the option to add one or more groups to the Stripe plans that are part of the plan template. When you do this, end-users that subscribe will also join the group(s) that are attached to the Stripe plans that are part of the subscription. A good thing to know is when you add a group to your Stripe plan it will also affect other plan templates that use the same Stripe plan.
Bugs and other improvements
In your community, when selecting a group on the events, library, users or organizations page, the end-user will now be redirected to the search page.
We improved the way data of end-user subscriptions and billing accounts in your dashboard is being retrieved. This increased overall performance.
When clicking the website button on a group page in your community the website will now open in a new tab.
