In today's release we have added a new feature to your community: Notifications.

We have added a new notifications system to your community. Users can now receive notifications for the following:

  • A user has liked a post.

  • A user leaves a comment on a post

  • A user sends a chat message to another user.

Notifications can be viewed in different ways. The first way is via the new Notifications page in your community. This page shows all the notifications that a user has received.

Notifications are sent via desktop notifications, mobile push notifications and via email. At the moment the following desktop browsers and devices are supported:

  • Desktop browsers: Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Opera. Internet explorer and Safari are not supported.

  • Mobile devices: All Android devices. iOS devices don't support mobile push notifications yet.

Users can now also manage their notification settings from the Settings page in your community. They can enable or disable notifications per type and per method.

That's it! Let us know if we can help you in any way. Don't forget to vote for your favorite suggestions on the feedback board and submit your own ideas.

Have a great day!
